Dr. Ronald C. May is in the private practice of general ophthalmology in Deerfield, IL and is on staff at Lake Forest Hospital. He is a graduate of Chicago Medical School and did his internship and residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He is a past president of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and a founder of the Illinois Medical Eye PAC. He has been a member of AAO's Council, State Affairs Committee, Congressional Advocacy Committee, OPHTHPAC Committee and was chairman of OPHTHPAC for six years.

Dr. May is a Vietnam veteran, has a wife, Judy, of 37 years, three daughters, and four grandchildren. His interests include photography, pre-war Lionel trains, and raising lovebirds.
